AQUA CAT "SHAKEN BUT NOT STURED"

THE DECEMBER 2004 AQUA CAT TRIP

IS ONE THAT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

WIND WAS BLOWING FROM 25 TO 35 ALL WEEK WITH SEAS

FROM ALMOST FLAT TO 12 FEET.

AS ALWAYS THE CREW WAS TERRIFIC AT MAINTAINING

TOP NOTCH SAFETY PROCEDURES WHILE WORKING

SHORT STAFFED FROM THE VIRUS THAT TRAVELED

THROUGH THE BOAT.

FROM HIS SICK BED, CAPTAIN RON MADE HIS WAY TO THE

BRIDGE TIME AFTER TIME TO MOVE THE BOAT SO THOSE

WHO WERE ABLE COULD DIVE A FRESH SITE.

FROM CHERYL AND I WE SAY THANKS TO THE GREAT

STAFF OF THE AQUA CAT FOR A FANTASTIC TRIP.

19 DIVES AND MORE DOWN TIME THAN I EXPECTED

IT WAS A GREAT TRIP.

SO TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF THE PHOTOS

AS WE START TO PLAN OUR NEXT TRIP.

THE AQUA CAT UNDERWAY DECEMBER 2004

The 2004-B BTS Dive Tour departed Hurricane Hole Marina, Paradise Island, Nassau Bahamas in the early morning hours of December 27, 2004.

Captain Ron was at the helm  promised a great week of diving, dining and some more diving.

This trip  covered the Eluthera and Exuma Islands.

Dives  included deep, shark, night, shallow, wreck, and the awesome drift dive through the WASHING MACHINE which is the official dive of Nascar.

The menu was guaranteed to add an additional 8 to 10 pounds and at least 2 inches to the belt but the virus that traveled through the boat was the best form of Weight Watchers Dr. Phil could ever come up with.

It was an awesome time and experience that we will never forget, as we dove into the second half of the first ten years of the 21st century.
